Hundreds of locks, symbolizing all forms of love, live on this heart in Toronto's Distillery District
Coincidentally, the post I had originally planned for this week discusses the city of Paris, as well as a few other destinations I have loved visiting over the years. I'm currently planning another trip abroad, so I was looking through photos of previous trips to recall what I liked and didn't like about journies I've taken in the past.
During this process, I found myself pouring over photos of my last trip to Paris and the warm memories I have from there. The events that unfolded in the City of Light this past weekend have truly saddened me, but compel me to wish you all the love in the world, in this week's post.
I also thought this a good opportunity to share my favourite poem. When I first read them, these words resonated with me immediately, and in times such as these, the passage below certainly does not lose its meaning. I hope your week is full of love.

Poem by Max Ehrmann, 1927. "Desiderata" is the latin term for "desired things".
