Fall is such a romantic time. The ochre sunlight and the crisp winds that blush your cheeks and tangle your hair – all of it makes me want to curl up under the blankets and listen to jazz, as the leaves swirl off the branches of the aged oaks outside. While I normally gravitate towards burgundy and oxblood shades this time of year, I spotted this pair of shoes a few weeks ago at one of my favourite Toronto boutiques and have been wearing them every chance I get. The colour, the architecture – how could anyone resist those beautiful bows! So when I saw their price was only $60, I strutted up to the cash register without hesitation. They're an unexpected shade of indigo, but they go perfectly with an all-black outfit like this one – ideal for a cool autumn day.
