I'm thrilled to be attending Women of Influence's Entrepreneurship event in Toronto on Tuesday
Entering the working world can be scary, but I'm fortunate to have several incredible mentors in my life, both professionally and personally. I know that, without the help of some special people, I would not be where I am today. I also hope that I can continue to form meaningful mentorships and one day, help someone to reach their own goals, by sharing what I've learned along the way.
From bosses and colleagues, both past and present, to friends and family who inspire me to better myself every day, and who provide guidance and support during challenging times, it's so important to have role-models to look up to, and it's so valuable when you have someone you respect and trust, answering your trickiest questions.
With this in mind, I couldn't be more excited to attend Women of Influence's Entrepreneurship Event tomorrow. The event is part of the organization's Toronto Evening Series, and features Mia Pearson, Co-Founder of one of Canada's top marketing agencies.
Women of Influence Inc. strives to connect young women with highly successful women across Canada. The company builds bridges between today and tomorrow's leaders, and celebrates women's successes with events like the one tomorrow night. I love the work that this organization does, and what it promotes in our evolving society.
