From head to toe: Joe Fresh lace blouse, JCrew pencil skirt, Kate Spade clutch, JCrew bracelet, Vince Camuto open-toed mules

I was afraid of wearing monochromatic outfits for a long time, at the risk of appearing matchy-matchy, but when experimenting with this pencil skirt and different blouses, I quickly discovered how elegant the skirt looked with a perfectly matched hue on top. This blouse's texture prevents the look from coming across as flat, and my gold bracelet elevates the outfit a little. I love how polished I feel in this look, and I love how it can me from work, to drinks, to dinner, on a beautiful summer's day.
