To enter for Bloglovin's 2015 Breakthrough Fashion Blogger of the Year Award, I wanted to post about my (unexpectedly) favourite H&M accessory - my red, polka dot hairband.
Considering this little bow was an impulse purchase totaling less than five dollars, I never imagined it would become my go-to item on days when I feel like channeling a youthful, summery vibe, or when I'm keen to keep my bangs back without looking like I'm headed to the gym.
While it's certainly not as neutral as other H&M accessories, I'm a firm believer in fun trinkets that bring life to an outfit, and for Saturday mornings spent at the farmer's market, this adorable add-on fits the bill.
My talented, soon-to-be sister-in-law, Lauren, photographed me grabbing some fresh flowers at the Evergreen Brick Works Farmer's Market last weekend, and, rather unsurprisingly, my fave H&M hairband made an appearance. I styled the accessory with a simple camisole, laid-back boyfriend jeans, and my favourite new summer shoes. My gold 'love' necklace is an every-day staple, and the peonies - they looked so stunning, we just couldn't resist photographing them too.
