I begin my day each morning by perusing the newest posts on my favourite blogs. This ritual not only enhances my morning routine, it also provides me with great material for afternoon daydreams. Below is a list of my ten favourite blogs at the moment. I'd love to hear which blogs your eye wanders to on the web!

1. Travel Dudes - While there's no end to the different types of travel blogs you can check out on the internet, this one offers insightful, bite-sized guides to just about every destination you can think of. Written by travellers, for travellers, this site offers valuable advice for those headed to any continent.

2. Love Taza - Naomi & Josh Davis, and their three little spuds have got to be the most adorable family on earth. This blog, penned by stylish, young mum, Naomi, is a celebration of family, motherhood, travel and fun, based in New York City.

3. The Garlic Pad - Toronto-based culinary student, Ariel Waks, shares her favourite recipes on this vibrant foodie blog. If you're craving mouth-watering foodporn, this is where to find it.

4. A House in the Hills - Blogger, Sarah Yates, explores her passions, including interior design, fashion and vegan-cooking on this beautiful blog, while opening up about her personal battle with Crohn's Disease. This blog is inspiring and full of unique personality.

5. Humans of New York - I'm a huge fan of this one-of-a-kind photography blog, and the books it has conceived, especially since photographer, Brandon Stanton, shifted his primary focus towards the blog's story-telling aspect, and sharing the personal tales of the individuals he photographs on the streets of New York City.

6. The Baker Chick - While I cannot cook for the life of me, I am never more blissful than when I'm baking. This blog offers an eclectic range of delicious recipes from the talented Audra, or as she calls herself, the baker chick.

7. Something Navy - My former roommate introduced me to Something Navy last year, and I've been obsessed with this blog ever since. Fashion blogger, Arielle, styles effortlessly chique outfits, and models them against a New York City backdrop. If you love shoes as much as I do, you need to check out this blog; her Louboutin collection alone will bring you to tears.

8. Architecture Beast - This blog is so much fun to explore. Packed with photos of impressive, luxurious homes, Architecture Beast presents some of the world's coolest abodes, and brings a whole new meaning to the term, 'dream home'.

9. Cupcakes and Cashmere - There's no denying that Emily Schuman is the reigning queen of lifestyle blogging. With her second book coming out this month, Schuman's site continues to inspire when it comes to fashion, food, entertaining and home decor. The Links I Love posts she curates weekly are a favourite of mine, and there's no end to the fresh content Emily herself produces.

10. The Trauma and Mental Health Report - Produced by York University in Toronto, this blog dives into issues surrounding mental illness and all-around wellbeing. Various contributors upload informative articles, videos and reviews to amplify positive conversation surrounding all forms of mental health.
